Field Trials Format
Trial format consists of twenty minute braces with two dogs and handlers competing with five birds. Rule books will be available at the trials for each participant. Prizes will be an ABC trial certificate and cash prizes.
The cash prizes will consist of a minimum of 20% of the entry fees which will be divided as follows:
1st place – 50%, 2nd place – 30%, 3rd place – 20%
Points earned for dogs: 1st place – 3 points, 2nd place – 2 points, 3rd place – 1 point
Championship status is obtained by having 18 total points with 9 of the 18 being 1st place wins.
